 Our
Junior Development Program is directly supervised by the world famous
tennis legend Tony Palafox. His former students include,
among others, John and Patrick McEnroe. Presently, Tony is
teaching and coaching tennis players of all ages and abilities -
from beginners to recreational and tournament level players.
During lessons there are a maximum of 4 students on each court with
one pro. This ratio ensures that each player receives individualized
instruction. Each lesson begins with stretching an warming up, followed
by learning proper stroke production, drills, and match play strategies.
Cove's staff of teaching pros have been personally trained by Tony
to best utilize his method of teaching and coaching. Most importantly,
Tony's DAILY on court supervision offers every player the
benefit of World Class Professional Experience And Expertise.
The Tony Palafox Cove Tennis Center is the only public facility
that invites all players to improve by learning from a CHAMPION
teacher, player, and coach.
From the End of June through the end of August the Cove Summer Camp
is also directly supervised Tony Palafox. Throughout the day, campers
benefit and improve by playing tennis on DIFFERENT OUTDOOR SURFACES
( Har-tru and hard courts). In case of rain, the club's 6 indoor
courts are always reserved for continuous play.
